Rushden Hall the oldest domestic building in Rushden, the Hall dates back to the 14th century and is located within the grounds of Hall Park. The Park and Rushden Hall are important features of the town and provide much loved and well used community facilities for all.

Although Hall Park is now a public park and has been for a number of years, it is very easy to see how it must have looked when Rushden Hall was a family home. The park has not been over-remodelled and the ridge and furrow of the land after enclosure in 1778 is still clearly visible. The carriage drive and tree avenue that led to the Hall are still intact and you instantly have a feeling of stepping back into the past when you walk from the entrance at High Street South to the entrance at Hall Avenue. Hall Park is not a municipal park created by a Council, it is a traditional country parkland that has been successful adapted to accommodate the needs of a growing urban population.
